# Cartesia

> Connect a Cartesia account so Zelto can reach your voice agents.

## Connect

1. Open **Settings → Integrations → Cartesia** and click **Connect Cartesia**.
2. Paste your Cartesia API key. Create one in the
   [Cartesia dashboard](https://play.cartesia.ai) under **API Keys**. Zelto
   validates the key against your account before saving it, then stores it
   encrypted.
3. Give the connection a label (e.g. `Production`) so you can tell multiple
   accounts apart.

You can connect multiple Cartesia accounts to one organization.

## What Zelto reads

Zelto reads your [Cartesia agents](https://docs.cartesia.ai/api-reference/agents)
to confirm the key works and to list the agents on your account. The key is
account-scoped, so a single key covers every agent.

<Note>
  Agent import and call-log ingestion for Cartesia are on the roadmap. Today the
  integration connects and validates your account; to bring call data in now,
  forward calls through [Custom & other providers](/docs/integrations/api-call-upload).
</Note>

## Connection status & disconnecting

The Cartesia card shows each connected account. The **Disconnect** action
removes the stored API key for that account.
